Platinum-selling singer and songwriter Tevin Campbell will perform at GrandWest on Friday July 22.
Fans can expect to hear many of Campbell’s popular hits as well as new material such as his latest single, Safer, released earlier this year. During his career, Campbell has been mentored by some of the world’s legendary artists including Quincy Jones and Prince. He has also worked with some of the industry’s top writers and producers including Babyface, Al B. Sure, Narada Michael Walden, Wyclef and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In the summer of 1991, he featured on the soundtrack to Boyz in the Hood singing Just Ask Me To, which went on to become a Top 10 R&B hit. All of this set the stage for his debut album, 1991s T.E.V.I.N., which went platinum and included two R&B chart toppers, Tell Me What You Want Me to Do and Alone with You, as well as the R&B top five hit Goodbye. I’m Ready, released two years later, went double platinum and featured three R&B chart hits, Can We Talk, I’m Ready and Always in My Heart. Tickets cost from R295.
lRonan Keating will perfrom at GrandWest on Wednesday August 17. He will be performing a range of hits including his 14 solo number-one singles as well as his new material from Time of My Life.
Keating achieved 40 million album sales with Boyzone, 22 million sales of his nine studio albums and 14 solo number-one singles, including When You Say Nothing At All, If Tomorrow Never Comes and Life is a Rollercoaster. He has performed in 50 countries and it was recently announced that he will be joining the coaching panel on The Voice Australia.
